Today is my beautifully pregnant wife’s birthday. We are all heading over to a nice restaurant in the evening with another Irina and her boyfriend. I’ll try to remember to take some shots, I’m just hoping it will be someone else’s turn to stay sober tomorrow – we need to have someone who can drive 24/7 now, as Ira already counts as full term, if the baby had been born already.
Another 10 days until the first predicted date (9th Feb), the other being the 13th. Given the randomness of nature, who knows when the happy event will occur?
I hope Ira (and lyolik) have a great time tomorrow, and that she displays her joy-inducing smiles at some point 🙂

A belated Happy Birthday, Irina, from me. I sent a text to Chris’ English phone (if I still have the correct number) Sunday morning – which would have been just after midnight on Saturday your time, so technically I was late with that too. We were in Canberra for the weekend because that’s where Kat’s sister lives and she was celebrating her 30th on the Tuesday but had a big party on the Saturday – we joked that she held it just for Mat though because his 30th was actually on the Saturday – same as yours 🙂
Anyway, in case you didn’t get the text, I wanted to check you got our card which is my last hope of wishing you a Happy Birthday on the correct day, unless it was late or didn’t turn up at all.
I’m awaiting with bated breath here for the announcement of Lyolik’s birth – Chris, I hope you can find time in all the excitement to post a one liner confirming the happy event 🙂
