This year, as in 2010 apparently, Easter weekend was on the same date for both Western (in my case Catholic) and Eastern (Orthodox) churches. It also happened to be the weekend following my birthday. Friday night saw our friends all meeting up at Guns and Roses to have a bite to eat, and probably a little bit too much to drink, before eventually rolling home. From what I remember, I had a very good night, so to those friends not on facebook, thanks for the great time. Luckily I had no English Talking Club on Saturday, so had the day to recover. Still with the in-laws on Sunday, some local friends came over to celebrate Easter with us. It was good to catch up with everyone, and there was some major news to announce to those present. More on that in the weeks to come.
