Deltas And Oxbow Lakes

Where two rivers meet, you will somtimes find a Delta machinery will sometimes be used to retrieve the alluvial soil that can be found there. This soil can be rich in nutrients, and so help local farmers grow crops. Note to Mrs Dowling (from my Pates days), I was not asleep or day dreaming in all of your geography lessons :) Oh, and oxbow lakes, I still remember those, for some reason.
