Cordless Phones

One problem with modern phones that aren’t physically connected to a socket is that the cordless phone battery does not always last very long. I can why the manufacturer would not want customers to have no need for their new models, but it is annoying when an otherwise functioning phone can’t last more than 40 minutes into a conversation without demanding to be docked in its charger. You can of course normally put it in speaker phone mode, but this then negates the point of having a cordless phone in the first place.
