Looking through the spam section of my comment moderation queues on my various other blogs, it looks as though I need to create a few new blacklists. If I set the blog to automatically reject comments that have Viagra, weight loss pills, porn or Rolex in them, I should be able to filter out 95% of the comments that currently clutter up my Akismet section. I do try and check in on them from time to time, as I occasionally find a real comment that just happens to have multiple links, without a lot of text. As long as the comment itself still has overall value, I’m happy to publish it. However, with all the other comments around them, it can be difficult to spot these.
