Charity Post

In both senses of the term…

Firstly, I would like anybody with a few minutes spare, to go and take a look at the Medecins Sans Frontieres website (they are also known by their English name, Doctors Without Borders). Even better, if you have not donated to a charity in a while, I would like you to consider if this charity’s aims are something you would like to contribute to. I believe charity donations are a very personal thing, so I am not directly asking you to contribute, just to take a couple of minutes to check them out, and see what you think.
So who are MSF? They basically send medial personnel, and all the related and required accoutrements that are needed to disaster situations - both those that are true, sudden disasters, such as earthquakes, floods and natural occurrences, as well as ongoing care for those people who often have no real infrastructure in place from their government for even the most basic of healthcare practices.

Oh, and the second interpretation of this post’s title? Well, as you may have noticed, this post is within the Interesting (and therefore sponsored) category on this blog; Navtej Kohli has offered bloggers money to talk about, and link to their favourite charities. You can find out a little more about him via his Facebook page, his SEOmoz profile or his LinkedIn member page.
