AntiSceptic’s Weekly Recap – Jun 8 2009

Category: Xbox 360 UpdatesChris' Xbox 360 @ 8:10 pm

My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: AntiSceptic played 6 days last week… pretty solid I guess… I’m not feeling that picky lately. I was sort of hoping for a gamerscore bump, but that didn’t materialize. Also, I think AntiSceptic’s favorite game last week was Peggle. He played it on 6 of the days.

And that is the news for now… Check back next week… same bat time, same bat channel…

Ha, funny you should mention Peggle, I was playing that on the PC last week. Not for long though – I prefer things like Insaniquarium and Diner Dash. Farm Frenzy is a good one too. I didn’t know you could get them on the Xbox. Has AntiSceptic got any of the Grand Theft Autos yet? I wanna hear about some GTA action!

Arrrgh, don’t tell me Peggle is on the PC, I’ll never get anything done if I install it there. Re. XBox, yeah Xbox Live Arcade games – as in you pay online, download and don’t have a physical product. You pay with Microsoft points, so prices are listed as 400/800/1200 points etc. rather than a fiver or whatver. No, still don’t have any Grand Theft Autos on the Xbox, as not bought any new discs, just paid for and downloaded the full versions of Peggle and Zuma (for Ira).

Lol, yes Peggle and Zuma and lots of others – if it’s for Irina she will love Insaniquarium – I got Mat hooked. You can play all the 60 minute demos at http://www.popcap.com and how you get the full versions is up to you 😉

Nah, she never did like Insaniquarium. I did, though it is quickest mouse/trackball button killer that I’ve met. It helped pass the time when ChrisD and I worked at Affinity though 🙂
I currently have Alchemy, Bejeweled and Bejeweled Valentine, BigMoney, Bookworm, Bzz, Collapse, Dynomite, FruitFrolic, Gemdrop GTS Racing, Hellfire, Insaniquarium, LinkLetters, MarsNeedCows, Mazera, MummyMaze, Nisqually, Pixelus, Ricochet, RocketMania, SevenSeas, TipTop, WildWildWords, WordMojo and Zuma installed on my phone. The one with the knackered screen :/
Also BounceOut, Elixir, RooksRevenge, TextTwist and WhatWord, though those are just demos. Can’t remember who owned the rights to the games first – PopCap or Astraware.
